very suspicious how all the reviews are on the 14th october huh!!? same person i believe...angel is ok...but very young,,,,and slightly weird.

I love it loads! i've been there since it re-opened about a year ago and have met some pretty amazing people! Fridays are always brilliant with lots of cheap drink and good music! The company is always good anynight of the week! dont know where id b without it! even my dad goes there n he's old man! ANGEL U ROCK!

Liver failure

I like to abuse my insides here, and I couldn't wish for a better resting place for my liver than the angel.
The booze is cheap, the jukebox is awesome, the staff are as cool as really cool things, there's always some cleavage on show somewhere and I drink there.
There is nothing more you could want in a pub.

hey all you guys,
the Angel in banswell is well cool. the staff and regulars are all real nice and welcoming. best of all the alcohol is cheap and the dukebox is wicked. all and all a goodnite especially for those students on a budget!!
the quiz is hilirious too, the names of the teams are enought to make you wanna go and check it out.

I dont think I'd spend my nights anywhere else before I go off to the Meze! I love it!
Its a good place to meet new people, AND it plays the a different range of music. Thank god for this place I say. Wouldnt be anywhere without it

The Angel is a wicked start off place for before going on to a night club! There are no Chavs thats a whole star on its own! And no trouble and cant recall a fight in there (unlike other places) The Alcohol is very fairly priced! And it would help if you went with people but the bar staff are nice enough that if you are alone they will speak to you! They are original in their theme nights and quiz nights! Age is validated regularly and is not even an issue! Friendly enviroment all around 5/5

It's cool, the alcohol is really cheap and everyone's friendly. Nice place to go if you want to get really drunk with a crowd of people or just have a quiet drink after work.

The Angel is amazing. Good music, friendly staff and a variety of ages. A great night out on the weekends and student nights (wednesday) are always fun and have special drink offers.

Quiz night Monday...goood! Friday's and Saturday's when it's full of great people...goood! All the rest of the week...goood! The staff here are friendly and fun, the drinks are cheap, there's loads of great music. The atmosphere is so friendly! I just love it there and out of all the pubs and clubs I've been to, this is definately the best.
