Great live venue

Saw jack the biscuit here a couple of weeks ago and had a fab night.
great friendly staff good beer and great music.
will definatly be back.

Langtons acoustic weekend

Having eaten there a couple of days before i thoght i would pop in for a beer on the weekend. To my utmost joy there was 2 days of live acoustic entertainment. I ended up sat there with friends and family all weekend with a feast of fabulous acoustic artists. Not just a few but all in all 24 acts over the Saturday and Sunday which to me really stands out as superb value. The beer was good, the entertainment was great, they even got the mood just right. After 2 visits i feel i will be a regular.

Thursday week i had the pleasure of having a fine lunch at Langtons which to my surprise was all home cooked, i had a roast pork dinner which was plentiful, steaming hot and most importantly, very tasty. My better half also had a fine meal followed by the biggest piece of apple pie this side of the Atlantic. Drizzled with cream it was a perfect end to a smashing meal. Having sampled the great food there i think the "big" pub chains need to take note. Quality definatly counts, we will be back.
